Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Client Hunter ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of the platform available at clienthunter.org (the "Platform").
By accessing or using Client Hunter, creating an account, or completing a subscription purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Client Hunter.
2. Description of Service
Client Hunter is a professional platform that connects software developers, engineers, and technical freelancers with client opportunities, project leads, and contract work. The Platform provides tools for developers to create profiles, discover relevant opportunities, and engage with potential clients.
Client Hunter acts as a marketplace intermediary only. We do not guarantee the availability, quality, or outcome of any client opportunity, project, or professional engagement facilitated through the Platform. All agreements and arrangements entered into between developers and clients are solely between those parties.
3. Account Registration & Responsibilities
To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your profile information up to date.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and not share your password with any third party.
- Notify us immediately at contact@clienthunter.org of any unauthorized use of your account or security breach.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
- Not create multiple accounts, impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your professional credentials or qualifications.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we determine, in our sole discretion, to contain false information, violate these Terms, or otherwise harm the integrity of the Platform.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
4.1 Subscription Plans
Client Hunter offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Access to premium features and enhanced opportunity matching requires a paid subscription. Current pricing and plan details are available on our Pricing page.
4.2 Billing & Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processors (Stripe and/or PayPal). By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fee on a recurring basis.
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring cycle (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
We accept major international payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal, subject to availability in your region. All transactions are processed in USD unless otherwise specified.
4.3 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice via email to your registered address. Continued use of the Platform after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
4.4 Taxes
Subscription fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities on your purchase, excluding taxes based on our net income.
5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
⚠ No Refund Policy
ALL PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTION FEES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. We do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges for any subscription fees paid, whether for unused portions of a subscription period, accidental purchases, dissatisfaction with the service, or any other reason.
This no-refund policy applies to all subscription tiers, including monthly and annual plans, upgrade charges, and any other fees charged through Client Hunter.
By completing a purchase, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you have reviewed your order and understand that it is non-refundable. You waive any right to a chargeback except in cases of confirmed fraudulent or unauthorized transactions on your payment method.
5.1 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at contact@clienthunter.org. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the period for which you have already paid. No partial-period refunds will be issued.
5.2 Exceptions
Notwithstanding the above, we may issue account credits or refunds at our sole discretion in cases of: (a) a verified billing error caused by Client Hunter; or (b) duplicate charges resulting from a technical malfunction of our payment systems. Requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge to contact@clienthunter.org with supporting documentation.
Residents of certain jurisdictions may have additional statutory rights that cannot be excluded. Nothing in this policy is intended to override mandatory consumer protection rights where applicable by law.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use Client Hunter to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile or communications.
- Transmit unsolicited commercial messages (spam) to other users.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest data from the Platform without our express written permission.
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code into the Platform.
- Circumvent or interfere with any security features or access controls of the Platform.
- Use the Platform for any purpose that is harmful, offensive, discriminatory, or that promotes illegal activities.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or private data.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform's underlying software.
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice and without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, functionality, design, text, graphics, logos, and software comprising the Client Hunter Platform are the exclusive property of Client Hunter or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the content you submit to your profile. By posting content on Client Hunter, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.
You may not use the Client Hunter name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE SERVICE.
We do not warrant that the Platform will meet your requirements, that results obtained from use of the Platform will be accurate or reliable, or that any errors will be corrected. Client Hunter does not guarantee that any specific number of opportunities, leads, or client connections will be provided.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CLIENT HUNTER AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO CLIENT HUNTER IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Client Hunter and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. No refunds will be issued for termination due to Terms violations.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at contact@clienthunter.org. Account deletion is subject to our data retention practices as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at contact@clienthunter.org.
If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may proceed to binding arbitration in accordance with the arbitration rules of the applicable jurisdiction. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent imminent harm.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international commercial law principles. For users in the European Union, applicable EU consumer protection legislation shall apply. For users in the United Kingdom, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies to the extent required.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and notifying you via email. Your continued use of Client Hunter after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
15. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Client Hunter with respect to your use of the Platform.
